Alba Onyx is onyx without the glare. On this 60x120cm the soft, cloud-like banding of a white onyx — pale ivory drifting into warm white with faint mineral veins — sits under a satin face: a low, even sheen that catches light gently rather than throwing it back like a mirror. It gives you the glow of onyx and the scale of a large format slab, but it stays calm on a wall, hides water marks far better than a polished tile and does not turn into a reflection of every downlight.

Satin or matt — what is the difference?
Same print, different surface. Satin (this 60x120) has a soft, low sheen — a hint of the onyx glow without going full gloss. Matt (the 60x60) has no reflection at all and the best grip underfoot.
Is satin slippery?
Less than a polished or gloss tile, more than a matt. Fine for dry floors, walls and hallways; for a shower tray or wet room floor use the matt 60x60 or a dedicated anti-slip tile.
What preparation does a 60x120cm tile need?
A flat, stable substrate, a large-format flexible adhesive, full back-buttering and a levelling clip system — lippage shows on a satin face at this size.
