A shower set brings everything together in one box: the valve, an overhead rainfall head, a handset and the fittings to connect them. Buying them together means the finishes match and the parts are designed to work with each other, so there are no surprises on fitting day.
What's in a shower set?
Our Quadra and Orbis sets include a solid brass thermostatic valve, a large stainless steel rainfall head (300 x 300mm square on Quadra, 250mm round on Orbis) with wall arm, a stainless steel handset, a flexible hose and a wall outlet elbow with a built-in handset holder. The exposed versions swap the wall arm for a stainless steel riser rail with a height-adjustable handset holder.
Rainfall heads and handsets
A large rainfall head gives a gentle, full-body soak, while the handset is there for rinsing hair, cleaning the enclosure or bathing children. Heads across our sets run from 200mm to around 400mm and come in square and round shapes.
Which set is right for you?
If you're re-tiling and can build the valve into the wall, choose a concealed shower. If you'd rather mount everything on the surface, go exposed. Showering over a bath? A set with a bath filler runs both from one valve.
