Mono basin mixers for standard basins

A mono basin mixer is the everyday basin tap: one body, one lever and one tap hole. Lift the lever for flow and move it left or right for temperature. These mixers are sized for inset, semi-recessed and pedestal basins, where the tap sits on the basin deck behind the bowl.

Round or waterfall?

The Oriana mixers have a slim cylindrical body and a round spout, the same design used across the Oriana bath taps and shower valves. The Velora matt black waterfall mixer has a wide, flat spout that pours a soft sheet of water, and it comes with a click-clack waste.

Spout reach

The Oriana mono mixers have a 142mm spout, which reaches the middle of most standard basins. If your basin sits on top of the worktop, a standard mixer will be too low to clear the rim, so choose a tall basin mixer instead.

Match the rest of the bathroom

Each Oriana mono mixer has a matching bath filler, bath shower mixer and freestanding bath tap in the same finish. The brushed brass and matt black versions also match the Oriana shower valves and accessories.

What does mono mean on a basin tap?

Mono, short for monobloc, means the hot and cold supplies feed into one tap body and come out through a single spout. It needs just one tap hole.

Can I fit a mono mixer to a basin with two tap holes?

Only by covering the spare hole with a blanking cap, which rarely looks neat. For a cleaner result, swap to a one-hole basin such as the Oriana 500mm vanity basin.

Is a waste included?

The Velora mixer includes a click-clack waste. Oriana mixers are sold without one, so add a waste in the same finish. For a brushed brass basin, the Oriana brass overflow cover finishes the overflow hole to match.
