Frequently asked questions

Is a twin lever tap the same as pillar taps?

No. Pillar taps are two separate taps in two holes, each with its own spout. A twin lever mixer is one tap in one hole with two handles feeding a single spout, so the water is already blended when it reaches you.

Can I fit one where I currently have two pillar taps?

Only if the sink or worktop has a single central hole, or can be changed for one. Two-hole sinks need either pillar taps or a two-hole mixer.
