Iceland White Marble Effect Gloss Porcelain 60x120cm Wall & Floor Tile

Iceland White is a clean, bright Calacatta-style marble on a mirror-bright ultra gloss face. Soft grey veins wander across a cool white ground at a scale that only reads properly on a 60x120cm tile — laid on a wall, the veining runs from one tile into the next and the surface reads as bookmatched slab rather than a grid. It bounces light around a room the way real polished marble does, without the sealing, staining or price.

Where it works

Full-height bathroom walls, shower enclosures, hallway and open-plan kitchen floors, feature walls behind a bath or vanity. White gloss is the safest large format choice for a small or dark room — it makes the space feel bigger and brighter than any matt finish will.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a polished tile?
No — it is an ultra gloss glazed porcelain. The shine comes from a high-gloss glaze fired onto the surface rather than mechanical polishing, so the face is fully sealed from day one and there are no micro-pores to trap dirt. Visually it is every bit as reflective as a polished marble.

Can I use it on a bathroom floor?
On walls, absolutely. For a shower tray or wet room floor, any gloss surface is slippery once wet — use it on dry floors and walls and pair it with a matt or anti-slip tile in the wet zone.

What preparation does a 60x120cm tile need?
A flat, stable substrate, a large-format flexible adhesive, full back-buttering and a levelling clip system. At this size a 1mm lip between tiles shows, especially on a gloss face that catches the light.

Does it need sealing?
No. The glazed porcelain body is non-porous; only the grout joints need attention. Clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and avoid acidic descalers.

How do I measure my room for tiles?
Measure the length and width of the room and multiply them together to get the square meterage. We recommend adding 10% for cuts and wastage.
Are these tiles suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, most of our porcelain and ceramic tiles are suitable for underfloor heating. Please check the 'Product Details' tab for specific confirmation on this product.
Do I need to seal these tiles?
Porcelain and glazed ceramic tiles do not require sealing. Natural stone and some unglazed tiles may require sealing before and after grouting.
