Iceland Navy Blue Marble Effect Gloss Porcelain 60x120cm Wall & Floor Tile
Iceland Navy is the statement colour of the range — a deep, saturated navy blue marble shot through with pale, almost white veining, under a mirror-bright ultra gloss face. It has the drama of a rare blue marble like Azul Macaubas or Sodalite at a fraction of the cost, and because it is a 60x120cm tile the veins sweep across the surface uninterrupted rather than being chopped at every joint. In gloss, the dark ground turns into a mirror and reflects light back into the room, which is what stops a navy bathroom from feeling like a cave.

Where it works
A feature wall behind a freestanding bath or vanity, a full shower enclosure against white walls, a cloakroom clad floor to ceiling, a bar or kitchen splashback run in one line. Brushed brass and gold fittings look expensive against it; so does a white marble like Iceland White on the remaining walls.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a polished tile?
No — it is an ultra gloss glazed porcelain. The shine is a high-gloss glaze fired onto the surface, so the tile is sealed and non-porous from the start and needs no treatment before or after installation.
Will a dark gloss show water marks?
More than a grey will — that is the trade-off with any dark gloss. On a shower wall a quick squeegee after use keeps it spotless; in a cloakroom or on a feature wall it is a non-issue. The pale veining breaks the surface up and hides far more than a plain navy gloss would.
What preparation does a 60x120cm tile need?
A flat, stable substrate, a large-format flexible adhesive, full back-buttering and a levelling clip system. Use a dark grey or navy grout rather than white — white grout lines turn a marble wall back into a grid.
Can I use it on a bathroom floor?
On walls and dry floors, yes. Gloss is slippery when wet, so keep a matt or anti-slip tile in the shower tray area.
