Cantara is a tall steel statement radiator with a quad circle-fin design, a sculptural piece that turns heat into a feature. Anthracite grey is the designer's neutral: darker and more considered than white, softer than black, and it sits well with wood floors and grey or white walls.
It delivers 5,369 BTU/hr at ΔT60. It is made from steel and supplied with everything needed to fix it to the wall. Radiator valves are sold separately.

Sizes and heat outputs
| Size (H x W) | Output BTU/hr (ΔT60) | Output watts (ΔT60) | Pipe centres | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2000x276mm | 5,369 | 1,574 | 50mm | 27.84kg |
Outputs are quoted at ΔT60, the manufacturer's test standard. Many UK comparisons use ΔT50, which gives a lower figure (roughly a fifth less), so allow a little extra output when sizing for a modern low-temperature or heat pump system.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right size?
Work out the heat your room needs with a BTU calculator (it depends on room size, windows and insulation), then pick a size whose output meets or slightly exceeds it. If you are running a lower flow temperature, allow extra.
Which valves do I need?
You will need a pair of 15mm radiator valves. For a matching look choose manual modern radiator valves in anthracite grey or thermostatic control with the designer TRV twin pack in anthracite grey. See all radiator valves.

Help choosing
Size a radiator by heat output (BTU), not by how it looks on the wall.
Enter your room size to see the heat output you need.
- Match the output to the room. Use the BTU figure from the calculator. In a bathroom, a towel rail alone often heats a small room; bigger rooms may need a radiator too.
- Check your connections. Measure the gap between your pipes and choose valves to suit: angled, straight or corner (see the valve helper on our valve pages).
- Heat pump? At the lower water temperatures heat pumps run at, expect roughly half the listed output.
- Summer use. Central heating rails only warm up when the heating is on. A dual fuel kit adds an electric element where the rail supports it.
