The Orbis Brushed Gold 3 Outlet Concealed Thermostatic Shower Set is a premium built-in shower, made around a thermostatic cartridge from French specialist Vernet and a solid brass valve, for precise temperature control that lasts. The valve is set into the wall so only the plate and controls are visible, while a large 250mm (10") round stainless steel rainfall head and a slim pencil handset give you two ways to shower — plus a matching bath spout to fill the bath from the same valve.

It comes in a warm brushed gold finish that adds a luxury, hotel-style touch and pairs beautifully with onyx and marble-effect tiles. Its soft round profile is part of the Orbis range, available in Chrome, Matt Black and Brushed Gold.

Premium features

  • Vernet thermostatic cartridge holds your chosen temperature steady, even when water is drawn elsewhere in the house
  • Solid brass valve body, built for long service life
  • Twin controls: one sets the temperature, the other turns the flow on and selects the outlet
  • Large 250mm (10") round stainless steel rainfall head for full-body, drenching coverage
  • Third outlet feeds a wall-mounted round bath spout, so one valve runs both bath and shower
  • Slim pencil handset in stainless steel for rinsing and cleaning, positioned on the right-hand side
  • Concealed valve sits flush in the wall for a clean, minimalist finish

Help choosing

Will it work with your water system?

Choose your system to see what to look for.

  1. Exposed or concealed? Exposed valves sit on the wall and are easiest to fit or swap. Concealed valves go inside the wall for a clean look and are best fitted while the bathroom is being redone.
  2. Outlets. 1 outlet runs one head; 2 outlets add a handset; 3 outlets add a bath spout or body jets.
  3. Thermostatic is safer. It holds the temperature steady when someone runs a tap elsewhere.
  4. Match your finish. Stick to one finish name across taps, shower and accessories so everything matches.

Still not sure? Send us your measurements and we'll check for you.

Questions people ask

Will this work with my combi boiler?
Thermostatic showers work well with combi boilers and unvented cylinders, as long as your pressure is within the valve's working range shown in the Specification tab.
I have a tank in the loft. Will it work?
Gravity-fed systems usually give low pressure, so check the minimum water pressure. You may need a shower pump; the right pump depends on where your tank sits, so message us and we'll advise.
What are inlet centres?
The distance between the hot and cold inlets on an exposed bar valve. The UK standard is 150mm, and the supplied elbows allow a little adjustment.
Which side is hot?
UK convention is hot on the left and cold on the right. Check the fitting instructions before connecting.
Exposed or concealed?
Exposed valves fix to the wall surface, which suits renovations. Concealed valves sit inside the wall for a cleaner look but need the wall opening up, so they're best fitted before tiling.
Do I need a plumber?
We recommend a qualified plumber for all shower installations.
