Frequently Asked Questions
Where does black marble effect work best?
As a feature wall, shower surround or a striking floor — it makes the biggest impact against lighter fittings, brass or plenty of natural light.
Is it easy to maintain?
Yes — porcelain needs no sealing and wipes clean; a matt-tile cleaner keeps the dark surface looking its best.

- Check where it can go. Floors need a tile rated for floors. In showers and wet rooms, a matt or anti-slip finish is safer underfoot than polished.
- Measure and add 10%. Length x width for each area, added together, plus 10% for cuts and breakage (15% for herringbone or diagonal layouts). The calculator above does this for you.
- Pick your joint. This tile is rectified (precision-cut edges), so a slim 2mm joint gives a near-seamless look. Large tiles need a flat surface; levelling clips help.
- Order it all together. Tiles are made in batches that can vary slightly in shade, so buy the full amount in one order.
- See it first. Order a sample to check the colour and finish in your own light.
