Product Description

Sky Gold & White Marble Effect Polished Porcelain Tile 60x60cm

Sky Gold & White brings the warmth of gold-veined marble into a hard-wearing porcelain at a fraction of the cost of real stone. A clean white base is run through with soft grey movement and warm gold marbling across multiple faces, so the veining flows naturally without obvious repeats. The polished surface lifts the light in a room, giving bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and living spaces a bright, high-end finish.

The 60x60cm square format is one of the most versatile sizes you can choose — easy to handle, quick to lay, and a clean fit for smaller bathroom floors, splashbacks, cloakrooms and feature areas where a large 60x120 plank would be too big. Rectified (laser-cut) edges let it sit with very fine grout lines for a near-seamless marble run, and it's rated for underfloor heating.

Why choose Sky Gold & White over natural marble

  • Non-porous & stain-resistant — unlike real marble, porcelain won't etch from wine, coffee or bathroom products.
  • No yearly resealing — the gold and grey veining runs under a sealed glaze, not in soft, absorbent stone.
  • Warm gold tone — the gold marbling adds warmth and a touch of luxury that plain white marbles lack.
  • Easy square format — a forgiving size for DIY and small rooms, with rectified edges for tight joints.

Where Sky Gold & White 60x60 works best

The square format suits smaller bathroom and cloakroom floors, kitchen splashbacks, hallways and feature walls — anywhere the larger 60x120 plank would feel oversized. Browse more 60x60cm floor tiles and 60x60cm bathroom tiles, or explore the full marble effect tile and gold tile ranges. The warm gold veining pairs beautifully with brushed brass, champagne and gold brassware, taps and light fittings, and also works alongside chrome and matt-black. Because it's polished, keep it to interior use and pair it with a matt or textured tile for shower trays and step-in areas that need more grip.

Care & sealing

Porcelain doesn't need sealing the way natural stone does, but on polished tiles a one-off application of a quality impregnating sealer after fitting helps repel grout haze and everyday marks. Clean with warm water and a pH-neutral tile cleaner — avoid acidic or bleach-heavy products that can dull the gloss over time.

Larger format available

Prefer a bigger, fewer-joints look? Sky Gold & White also comes in a large 60x120cm format.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 60x60 Sky Gold & White suitable for bathroom floors?
Yes. It's a through-glazed porcelain rated for interior walls and floors, including bathroom floors. As a polished tile its slip rating is R9, so for shower bases or step-in areas we recommend pairing it with a matt or anti-slip tile.

What grout colour works best with these tiles?
A white or soft grey grout gives the most seamless finish — white keeps it bright and clean, while a light grey softens the joints. Both let the gold and grey veining stay the centre of attention.

Can these be used on walls as well as floors?
Yes, they're rated for both. On plasterboard or stud walls, fit a tile backer board first, as polished porcelain is heavier than standard ceramic wall tile.

Do gold-veined tiles work with brass or gold taps and fittings?
Yes — they're a natural match. The gold marbling ties in with brushed brass, champagne and gold brassware, handles and light fittings for a coordinated, luxe scheme.

How many tiles do I need?
Each tile covers 0.36m², so you need roughly 2.78 tiles per square metre. Take your area in m², add around 10% for cuts and breakages, then divide by 0.36 — or use the area calculator at the top of this page.

Tile FAQs

How many tiles do I need?
Measure the width and height of each area to get the m², add the areas together, then add 10% for cuts and wastage. The calculator at the top of this page does it for you and converts the area into the number of tiles.
Can these tiles be used on the floor as well as the wall?
Check the Suitability line in Product Details. Tiles marked "Wall & Floor" are rated for both. For wet-room shower floors we recommend a textured or higher slip-rated finish.
Do the samples cost anything?
Samples are charged at a small amount which is then credited against your full order, so trying before you buy effectively costs nothing once you place your order.
How quickly will my order arrive?
In-stock tiles are dispatched for next-day UK delivery when ordered before the daily cut-off. Standard delivery is free on orders over £499.
Why should I order extra tiles?
Tiles are produced in batches and shades can vary slightly between them. Ordering your full quantity plus 10% in one go means cuts, breakages and future repairs all come from the same batch.
