The Rivena 1200x500mm matt black heated towel rail is the smart-money choice for landlords, renovators and anyone updating a bathroom on a budget without it looking budget. At just 74mm deep it's the slimmest 1200x500 ladder rail we sell, and its low 3.8L water content means it heats up noticeably faster than heavier rails — your towels are warm minutes after the heating kicks in. Twelve bars, a clean matt black finish and a 6 bar working pressure rating make it a dependable fit for modern sealed systems.

Why Choose the Rivena?
Equivalent black 1200x500 ladder rails at the big national retailers start around £95–£120 — the Rivena undercuts them while offering a higher 6 bar pressure rating and a lighter body that's genuinely easy to hang. The 450mm pipe centres make it a straightforward like-for-like swap for most existing rails. It's ideal for en-suites, cloakrooms and rental refurbs; if you need more heat for a main bathroom, step up to the Azzano matt black (575W) or the Novara 750W. Browse all ladder heated towel rails or match it with black tiles.
Also available in chrome and brushed gold.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Rivena powerful enough to heat my bathroom?
At 337W (1,149 BTU) ΔT50 it will heat a small bathroom, en-suite or cloakroom of up to around 3.5m² on its own. In larger rooms, use it as a towel warmer alongside underfloor heating or another radiator.
Why does the slim 74mm depth matter?
It projects less into the room than standard 90–100mm rails — useful in tight en-suites, behind doors and in narrow cloakrooms.
How quickly does it warm up?
With only 3.8L of water content it reaches temperature faster than heavier rails, so towels warm up soon after your heating comes on.
Can it handle a high-pressure sealed system?
Yes — 6 bar maximum working pressure (pressure-tested to 8 bar), higher than many premium rails. Maximum water temperature is 75°C.
