Savela Grey Gloss Ceramic 70x280mm Metro Wall Tile
Grey metro is what people reach for when white feels too clinical and colour feels like too much of a commitment. Savela Grey is a soft, neutral mid-grey under a clean gloss glaze — warm enough to sit with oak and brass, cool enough to work with chrome and white sanitaryware. At 70x280mm the brick is slimmer than a standard metro, which reads as more considered and less builder-standard.

Where it works
Splashbacks behind a hob or sink, shower and bath surrounds, cloakrooms and utility walls. Grey is the practical choice in a busy kitchen — it takes daily splashes and steam without showing every mark the way a bright white can.

Where is it made?
Spain, imported direct by us. Spanish ceramic factories are the benchmark for glaze consistency on small-format wall tile, which matters when you are laying a whole wall of the same colour.
Will a gloss finish show water marks?
Some, in a hard water area. A squeegee in the shower and an occasional wipe with a limescale-safe cleaner keeps it clear. Avoid harsh acidic descalers on the grout.
Can it go on the floor?
No. This is a glazed wall tile — it is not rated for foot traffic. Pair it with a porcelain floor tile instead.
