Marena Blue Gloss Ceramic 75x300mm Metro Wall Tile
Blue is the colour most people want and fewest commit to, which is precisely why metro is the right way to use it. A splashback or a single shower wall in Marena Blue delivers a proper hit of colour across a small, easily changed area, and the gloss glaze keeps the tone alive rather than flat. Slim bricks break the colour into a rhythm instead of one solid slab.

Where it works
Kitchen splashbacks, a feature wall behind a bath, shower recesses and cloakrooms. Blue metro is a strong partner for warm brass or aged bronze, and it stops an all-white kitchen from feeling like a showroom display.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much should I order?
Area in square metres plus 10% for cuts, at roughly 44 tiles per m². With coloured ranges it is worth erring on the generous side — a later top-up batch may not match exactly.
Where does it come from?
Spain, imported direct by us. A Spanish-made coloured metro would normally sit well above this price on the UK market; buying at the factory rather than through a distributor is the difference.
What grout works best?
Light grey is the reliable choice and keeps attention on the colour. White grout gives a crisper, more nautical look; a blue-grey makes the wall read as one solid panel.
Can it go behind a hob?
Yes. Glazed ceramic handles heat and grease well and wipes clean easily — just leave the manufacturer's recommended clearance above the hob itself.

- Check where it can go. Floors need a tile rated for floors. In showers and wet rooms, a matt or anti-slip finish is safer underfoot than polished.
- Measure and add 10%. Length x width for each area, added together, plus 10% for cuts and breakage (15% for herringbone or diagonal layouts). The calculator above does this for you.
- Pick your joint. Rectified tiles take a slim 2mm joint; non-rectified tiles need about 3mm. Large tiles need a flat surface; levelling clips help.
- Order it all together. Tiles are made in batches that can vary slightly in shade, so buy the full amount in one order.
- See it first. Order a sample to check the colour and finish in your own light.
