Marena Grey Gloss Ceramic 75x300mm Metro Wall Tile
Grey metro sits between white and colour, which is exactly why it sells. Marena Grey is a soft mid-tone under a clean gloss glaze — enough warmth to work with oak and brass, enough coolness to sit with chrome and white sanitaryware. In a working kitchen it is the practical pick: daily splashes and steam show far less on grey than on bright white.

Where it works
Kitchen splashbacks, bathroom and en-suite walls, utility rooms and shower surrounds. Grey is also the safer option in a room with mixed metals or a busy worktop, where a stark white can end up looking like the odd one out.

Which layout should I use?
Half-brick bond is the classic. Vertical stack is the current alternative and makes a low splashback look taller. Herringbone works too but expect noticeably more cutting and waste — add 15% rather than 10%.
Where is it manufactured?
Spain. We import it direct rather than through a UK distributor, which is what allows a Spanish-made tile to sit at this price rather than a mid-market one.
Will hard water mark it?
Gloss shows limescale spotting in hard water areas. A squeegee in the shower and a limescale-safe cleaner keeps it clear; avoid strong acidic descalers, which attack the grout rather than the tile.
Can I use it on the floor?
No. This is a glazed wall tile and isn't rated for foot traffic — pair it with a porcelain floor tile instead.
