Rodas Onyx White Marble Effect Polished Porcelain 60x120cm Wall & Floor Tile

Made in Spain by Pamesa, Rodas White is the large format people picture when they say they want a marble bathroom — a clean white ground with soft grey veining, polished to a mirror. At 60x120cm a single tile covers 0.72m², so a shower wall reads as continuous stone rather than a grid, and the 10.5mm body is noticeably more substantial than the 8–9mm porcelain most large format is pressed at.

  • Made in Spain by Pamesa
  • Size: 60x120cm large format (0.72m² per tile)
  • Finish: Polished marble effect, white with soft veining
  • Thickness: 10.5mm
  • Rectified edges — machine cut for a tight 2mm joint
  • 2 tiles per box, covering 1.44m²
  • Walls and floors, and suitable over underfloor heating
  • Sold per square metre

Why 60x120cm

White is the colour that suffers most from grout lines — a white 30x60cm wall is a grid first and a wall second. At 60x120cm the joints all but disappear, which is why this format has become the default for hotel-style bathrooms and why it photographs so well.

Where it works

Shower and wet room walls, bath panels, hallway floors, open-plan kitchens and utility spaces. Polished white bounces a remarkable amount of light around a small bathroom. Keep it to dry floors and walls — for a shower tray, use a matt or textured tile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a white polished floor show every mark?
Less than a dark polish does. The veining breaks up reflections, so dust and footprints are far less obvious than on a plain gloss white. A microfibre mop and a pH-neutral cleaner is all it needs.

How many boxes do I need?
Each box holds 2 tiles and covers 1.44m². Measure your area, add 10% for cuts, divide by 1.44 and round up.

Is it really rectified?
Yes. The edges are cut to an exact size after firing, which is what allows a 2mm joint. Without that, a large format tile needs a much wider joint and loses the seamless effect entirely.

Can I use it on a wall and the floor?
Yes, and running the same tile up the wall and across the floor is the single most effective way to make a small bathroom feel bigger. Just not on a shower tray.

Are these tiles suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, most of our porcelain and ceramic tiles are suitable for underfloor heating. Please check the 'Product Details' tab for specific confirmation on this product.
Do I need to seal these tiles?
Porcelain and glazed ceramic tiles do not require sealing. Natural stone and some unglazed tiles may require sealing before and after grouting.
